Dental Crowns

Custom Crowns for Damaged Teeth

A dental crown is a custom-made cap that fits over a damaged, decayed, or weakened tooth. It restores the tooth's shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are often recommended after root canal therapy, for teeth with large fillings, or to repair cracked or fractured teeth.

The process typically requires two visits. During the first visit, Dr. David prepares the tooth by removing a thin layer of enamel, takes precise impressions, and places a temporary crown. Your permanent crown is crafted by a dental laboratory to match your natural teeth perfectly.

At your second visit, the temporary crown is removed and your custom permanent crown is carefully fitted, adjusted, and cemented into place. The result is a strong, beautiful tooth that looks and feels completely natural.

Dental Bridges

Replace Missing Teeth with Bridges

A dental bridge literally bridges the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It consists of two or more crowns placed on the teeth on either side of the gap (abutment teeth), with a false tooth or teeth (pontics) in between.

Bridges restore your smile, maintain the shape of your face, properly distribute the forces of your bite, and prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position.

Traditional Bridge

Crowns on adjacent teeth support the replacement tooth. Most common type.

Cantilever Bridge

Supported by a crown on only one side. Used when teeth are present on only one side of the gap.

Maryland Bridge

Uses a metal or porcelain framework bonded to the backs of adjacent teeth. A conservative option.
